The organization’s mission is centered on the dental health of children, teenagers, and people with special health care needs or individuals with disabilities.

Committed to Excellence in Pediatric Dentistry
The Philippine Pediatric Dental Society, Inc. (PPDSI) had its beginnings as a collaborative undertaking of a team of general dentists and Pediatric Dentistry specialists whose goals is in the advancement of quality pediatric dentistry as it serves the Filipino people. It is a non-stock non-profit organization registered with the Securities and Exchange Commission and is recognized as the pediatric dentistry group of affiliates of the Philippine Dental Association. Through the years, PPDSI was able to establish affiliations with different national and international professional organizations — it is a founding member society of the International Association of Pediatric Dentistry (IAPD). In January 2011, it has been granted accreditation by the Board of Dentistry of the Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) as the specialty group in the field of pediatric dentistry in the country. The PPDSI is nationally identified as the leader in the oral health care of children and adolescents and the mentally, physically, and emotionally challenged patients. The strong bond among its members and dedication to its ideals has brought PPDSI through the years of joy and turmoil and continues to carry the society to the forefront of Philippine Dentistry in the present times.
